       Iowa was launched on August 27 , 1942 and commissioned on March 22 the following year . In order to avoid encountering the German battleship Tirpitz, the trial voyage was carried out in the Chesapeake Bay. In 1944, she moved to the Pacific Ocean and joined the Pacific Fleet, during which she participated in the Battle of Marshall, the Battle of the Mariana Islands, and the Battle of Wright Gulf; she participated in the Korean War in the 1950s, and was used as a training ship after the war, and soon entered the reserve service ; On April 17 , 1989 , a turret explosion occurred on the Iowa, killing 47 sailors ; in 1990 , the Iowa received a decommissioning notice; on March 17 , 2006 , it was removed from the list of active warships and transferred to Among the old warships of the Defense Reserve Fleet in Saas Bay, it will become a floating museum in the future.

       Germany’s No. 6 tank E, usually referred to as the “Tiger” I tank. It was developed because the German armored forces unexpectedly encountered strong resistance from Soviet tanks in the months after the invasion of the Soviet Union, especially the T-34 and KV-1. The Tiger I was the first tank to be fitted with an 88mm gun, the anti-aircraft version of which had already demonstrated excellent anti-aircraft and anti-armor capabilities. During the war, the “Tiger” I appeared in almost all German front battles. It is usually deployed in independent heavy tank groups. “Tiger” I has produced a strong psychological deterrent to many opponents. Its design is very complicated, using a lot of expensive materials and production processes, and its production takes a lot of time. Thus between August 1942 and August 1944, only 1,347 were built.
