This set allows both types of vehicles in one diorama. Also provided: full, accurate exterior M551 hull stencilings & silver-edged Data Plates (for the AN/VSS-3 searchlight), accurate M113 exterior hull stencilings, and Vietnam era .50 Cal ammo box stencils. The Vietnam war M551s are full of stencils, particularly the turret sides and rear. When you remove any of the ammo boxes or water can, there will be a stencil visible. When you remove a tool from the hull rear, so will a stencil appear on the surface beneath the tool. This set featured a second unit Guidon, black with white crossbones, used during the war. Something to spice up the antenna!

NEW FROM hobbybos-1/35 Pz.Kpfw.VI Sd.Kfz.182 Tiger II (Henschel Feb-1945 Production) 84532

http://www.hobbyboss.com/Uploads/201906/5d15ac8d01876.jpg

Product introduction:
In early October 1942, plans for production of the VK 45.03 were reviewed,Initially two designs were provided, one by Henschel and one by Porsche. Both used a turret design from Krupp; the main differences were in the hull design, transmission and suspension.

The Henschel version used a conventional hull design with sloped armor resembling the layout of the Panther tank. It had a rear mounted engine and used nine overlapping road wheels per side, mounted on transverse torsion bars, in a similar manner to the original Tiger. To simplify maintenance, however, the wheels were overlapping rather than interleaved as in the Tiger

Henschel won the contract, and all Tiger IIs were produced by the firm. Two turret designs were used in production vehicles. The initial design is sometimes misleadingly called the “Porsche turret” due to the belief that it was designed by Porsche for their prototype. In fact this turret was simply the initial Krupp design for both prototypes. This turret had a rounded front and steeply sloped sides, with a difficult-to-manufacture curved bulge on the turret’s left side, to accommodate the commander’s cupola. Fifty early turrets were mounted to Henschel’s hull and used in action. The more common “production” turret, sometimes called the “Henschel” turret, was simplified with a flat face, no shot trap (created by the curved face of the initial-type turret), less-steeply sloped sides, and no bulge for the commander’s cupola.

The track system used on the Tiger II chassis was a unique one, which used alternating “contact shoe” and “connector” links—the contact shoe link had a pair of transverse metal bars that contacted the ground, while the connector links had no contact with the ground.

The Tiger II was developed late in the war and made in relatively small numbers. Like all German tanks, it had a gasoline engine. However, this same engine powered the much lighter Panther and Tiger I tanks. The Tiger II was under-powered, like many other heavy tanks of World War II, and consumed a lot of fuel which was already in short supply.

The M270 MLRS (M270 Multi-Barrel Rocket Launch System, M270 MLRS for short) is a self-propelled rocket launcher weapon system with armor. Since the 1983, the US military has used the M270 rocket launcher for the first time, NATO member states have begun to purchase some M270, and gradually become the standard weapon of NATO. In the United States and European countries, a total of about 1,300 rockets, M270, were produced. In 2003, the M270 was officially discontinued after the final delivery of the Egyptian army M270.

new from Trumpeter-1/35 M4 command vehicle (C2V) 01063

http://www.trumpeter-china.com/Uploads/201906/5d15846b4851a.jpg

The design of the M4 Command and Control Vehicle (C2V) is similar to the XM5 electronic tank system of the UK BAE Ground Division, but the difference in mission equipment determines the configuration changes. The M4 C2V uses a telescopic antenna frame up to 10 meters long and the main power unit, including the environmental control system and the NBC overpressure system, which are integrated into the mission equipment accessories.

The car is based on the chassis of the standard M270 (MLRS) multi-barrel rocket system, which is heavily used in the US military. The first contract was for the manufacture of five M4s, but the contract had a three-year additional option worth $82 million and plans to deliver 46 units by February 2002. However, before the plan was terminated, only a total of 25 M4 command and control vehicles were delivered.

http://www.trumpeter-china.com/Uploads/201906/5d1583b5bd09b.jpg

product description:
“Tashkent” was expelled from the shipJanuary 11, 1935Started construction in Italy,November 28, 1937Launching water,October 22, 1939The Soviet Union received service. The design of the Tashkent was an avant-garde at the time. It was one of the few large ships with a speed of more than 40 knots during World War II. After the transformation in 1942, the firepower was even upgraded to the light cruiser level.

During World War II, her main task was to serve as a transport ship for personnel and supplies. Among the Soviet ships that transported supplies to Sevastopol , the Tashkent was quite legendary, and even the Germans knew its name. It was transported dozens of times by the Soviets, and was subjected to the German Air Force. More than 90 air strikes, the German army threw more than 400 bombs and fired 10 torpedoes .

After the withdrawal of the Tashkent to the Naros Base of Novorossiysk, it was completely destroyed on the slipway during the air raid on July 2, salvaged in 1944, and was demolished in 1945 for its unrepaired value.
