1/35 Russian BREM-1M armored repair vehicle 09554

product description:

The BREM-1 armored rescue vehicle was developed by the Soviet Army to support the T-72 main battle tank. Its main role is to rescue damaged tanks and other armored vehicles on the battlefield without fixed maintenance and repair facilities. Drag the damaged vehicle off the line or help the crew to repair it on site.

The BREM-1 is based on the chassis of the T-72A main battle tank and uses a 780-horsepower V-46 engine. The turret was removed and a new superstructure was installed, with three crew members. Equipped with front bulldozer and crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 19 tons. The traction force of the main winch is 25 tons, which can be increased to 100 tons after using the pulley block. The traction force of the auxiliary winch is 530 kg. The maximum towing capacity is 50 tons. The hull has the same level of protection as the T-72 main battle tank. Equipped with a heavy machine gun with a caliber of 12.7 mm and 840 rounds of ammunition.

The BREM-1 started production in 1984 and delivered 342 vehicles by 1990.

“BREM-1M” is an improved model of BREM-1. Use the chassis of the T-90 main battle tank and switch to a V-84MS engine with 840 horsepower or a V-92S2 engine with 1000 horsepower. Has now begun to serve in the Russian army.

The “Club”-K container missile launching system is used to attack surface or land targets. It adopts missiles with folded wings and can launch three types of missiles, namely 3M-54TE, 3M-54TE1 and 3M-14TE. The 3M-54 missile uses hypersonic flight, and can reach three times the speed of sound when hitting the end of the target. The container missile launch system can simultaneously attack surface and land targets, which has become the main feature of the “club”-K system. The “club”-K system is installed in a standard 40-foot container, which can be deployed at docks and stations and launched from cargo ships, trains, and cars of different levels. The “Club”-K system consists of a universal launch module (ULM), a combat control device (CCD) and a power/life-support module (PLSM). The universal launch module uses a quadruple launcher.
