CMK prepares for the beginning of next year

For the new P-40 Warhawk, CMK has prepared several detailed sets for interior and exterior enhancement from the 1/72 Special Hobby. Wheels with two different types of tires have already been presented. Other wheels with different types of tires can be seen on the renderers now. In the period photographs, it is often seen that on one machine a tire of different pattern was used on each wheel. For the interior, CMK offers several seat types, for P-40E to M and P-40Ns (with US belts, British belts, without belts) and new interior hinges and knobs.
For the IAR 80/81 series of Azur-Frrrom and Special Hobby, there are two types of wheels available so far. CMK prepared the last type of bike that was missing in the offer.

Product introduction:
Since the invention of the railroad, trains have always played a major role in wars, particularly for troop transport. But even as early as the Civil War, specially armed armored trains were used in active combat. For about a hundred years, ironclad trains were running the railroads of Europe. To this day, only a few survive.
The Motobronevagon MBV-2. Produced in 1938, this self-propelled vehicle was armed with three 76.2mm guns and ten machine guns, with a crew of fifteen. Only two of these heavy-class armored trains were built, which saw extensive action in WWII against the Nazis. One of the trains is now on display at The Kubinka Tank Museum.

Product introduction:
Introduced between 1976 and 1985, the types 451 and 461 are powered by a Deutz V8 Diesel engine, type F8L413F with 256 hp. These trucks are mainly flatbeds and covered wagons used to transport material and troops, carriers for the Kabine II of the fire control system (FERA) of the Light Artillery Rocket System (LARS) and as recovery vehicle for the KZO “Brevel” drone, equipped with a 1-ton crane by Atlas-Weyhausen.
A specialty are the tank trucks based on the 5 t mil gl. With the tank attachment (“Tankaufsatz”, TA) with pump, either with 1x 4600 l or 2x 2300 l tanks, they exceed the max. gross weight by one ton. After tests and with the consent of the tire manufacturer, it was decided to increase the tire pressure to compensate. All of these vehicles have a certificate of exemption.
In contrast to type 451, the type 461 vehicles are equipped with a 5-ton winch with 30m of steel cable, denoted by the letter “w” in their designation (5 t mil glw). The cable can be played out to the front and to the rear. Almost all of the 2,073 winch-equipped trucks went to the army branch.
Between 1986 and 1993, the German Air Force (Luftwaffe) ordered further vehicles which could be airlifted in Lockheed C-130 Hercules and Transall C-160 transport aircraft. This new generation, termed KAT I A1, had some minor improvements over the first generation and some slight modifications. For example, the fixed cab was modified to expedite changing the engine. For airlift, the cab received a bolt-on hardtop.

Product introduction:
Tas Röhamloveg was a tank destroyer project, developed along with the 44M Tas tank, based on the same chassis. It was started in 1944, when some of the officers involved in the 44M Tas design came up with an idea that it wouldn’t be actually bad to start a project of a heavy tank destroyer along with the tank development. They were influenced no doubt by the successes of such German vehicles, that were not only extremely deadly, but also cheaper to build than regular tanks. Their silhouette was also lower, they were harder to spot, easier to set an ambush with and generally suitable for the defensive warfare both the German and Hungarian armies found themselves in.

The KrAZ-6446 tractor truck was developed in Ukraine by AvtoKraz. It was developed from the KrAZ-6322 6×6 heavy utility truck. It is a successor to the previous KrAZ-260V. Vehicle is designed to operate on all kinds of roads.
The KraZ-6446 is intended to haul semi-trailers. It can operate on all kinds of roads and in off-road condition. Fifth-wheel permissible vertical load is 11.4 t. Vehicle can tow a semi-trailer with a maximum weight of 23 t on all kinds of roads and up to 34 t on hard surface roads.
This Ukrainian tractor truck is used to transport armored vehicles or heavy construction equipment. It is also used to haul semi-trailers with the S-300PMU-1 air defense missiles.
Design of this military truck is simple and robust. The KrAZ-6446 is powered by Russian YaMZ-238D turbocharged diesel engine, developing 330 hp. Vehicle is also proposed with improved YaMZ-238DE2 diesel engine, which meets EURO II emission requirements. This tractor truck shares a number of automotive components with the KrAZ-6322 heavy utility truck.

For the armored train units of Type BP42, the artillery was increased, following Russian and Polish examples, to four guns, which were not, though ,mounted two to a car as in the latter types, but one per separately built ten-sided rotating turret, in order to avoid too-great losses from a direct hit. The two halves of the train, before and behind the locomotive were identical and consisted of one artillery car with one 10cm le.F.H 14/19(p) gun, one command and infantry car and one artillery and anti-aircraft car with one 7.62cm F.K.295/l(r) and one 2cm anti-aircraft quadruple unit.

The A-4 Skyhawk was designed by Douglas in response to a U.S. Navy call for a jet-powered attack aircraft to replace the older A-1 Skyraider. Douglas opted for a design that would minimize its size, weight, and complexity. The result was an aircraft that weighed only half of the Navy’s weight specification. It had a wing so compact that it did not need to be folded for carrier stowage.
A-4F refinement of A-4E with extra avionics housed in a hump on the fuselage spine (this feature later retrofitted to A-4Es and some A-4Cs) and more powerful J52-P-8A engine with 9,300 lbf (41 kN) of thrust, later upgraded in service to J52-P-408 with 11,200 lbf (50 kN), 147 built. Some served with Blue Angels acrobatic team from 1973 to 1986

In order to train a new “fulcrum” pilot for the Air Force, the Mikoyan Design Bureau developed a combat trainer on the original “Fulcrum A”.
The new MiG-29UB Dress Up Trainer – also known as “Product 9.51” – made its first flight on April 29, 1981. In order to avoid large-scale redesign and maintain maximum versatility, the aircraft canceled fire control radar to make room for the redesigned cockpit. Both the student in the front seat and the instructors in the back seat have full control of the aircraft. Despite the abolition of fire-control radar, the MiG-29UB can still launch IR-guided air-to-air missiles and air-to-ground weapons using the remaining IRST and HMS systems. Built-in cannon also retained.
MiG-29UB not only retains the prototype’s close combat ability and strike capability, and the use of special simulator allows pilots to air combat training in the distance. Most single-seat MiG-29 users have imported the MiG-29UB to train new pilots.

As a successor model to the T-55, the T-62 will be refitted with a new 2A20 115 mm smoothbore gun based on the T-55. Both use the same load-bearing wheels, crawlers, engines, gearboxes, and outer packagings and many other common components, with the main difference being that the T-62 has redesigned a new turret for the turret and added a longer chassis. Its launch-stabilized tail-armor-piercing projectile would penetrate a 300-mm-thick homogeneous steel at 1000 m, enough for NATO countries such as M-48 in the United States and later “Chiefs” tanks in Britain. At first, the T-62 was only used as an emergency design solution to enhance T-55 strike capability against the new NATO tanks. Unexpectedly, reliable performance and low cost made it as large and long as the T-54/55 in the Red Army Troops to become the main chariot.
Despite the introduction of the T-62 in the 1960s, the Soviet Union continued to develop the famous T-72 main battle tank based on it. T-62 can still be seen today in military service in many countries, including Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Arab countries, including the most used. Israel has seized a large number of T-62s in the Middle East war and put them into use after being converted into vehicles in accordance with the standards of the Israel Defense Forces.
