CD72070 : C-135 Family General Purpose Markings

This 1/72 scale decal set provides a comprehensive selection of general-purpose markings to allow you to build and improve your 1/72 scale KC-135 builds. While the sheet does not provide complete markings for any one particular aircraft, the wide variety of markings on this sheet will help you replace the inaccurate and generally poorly printed kit decals, and build new variants that can not be built with kit decals.

This set will be a great companion for our 1/72 scale KC-135/WC-135/RC-135 decal sets.

The markings on the sheet include:

National insignia, both in earlier full-color and current low-visibility versions
Maintenance stencilling and door outlines in both early and current styles
Refueling door markings for IFR-capable C-135 variants
US flags and MATS/MAC command name markings
A set of white digits for last four digits of tail numbers painted on the front fuselage
Wing walkways for 1960s-1980s era color schemes
Refueling probe markings for KC-135 versions
NAcelle markings for both J57 and TF33 engines
This set is designed for the 1/72 scale AMT/ERTL kits of the C-135 series. The main markings sheet in the set was professionally screen printed by Cartograf in Italy. The walkways and national insignia sheets were professionally screen printed by Microscale in the US.

This Basics sheet provides accurately designed and scaled general stencilling and national insignia for USAF F-22A Raptors. It is the same sheet that is included with our 1/48 scale F-22A Raptor sheets (CD48166 and CD48226).

We also offer a serial numbers sheet (CDB48011) for USAF F-22A Raptors, allowing you to build almost any USAF Raptor.

Decals in our new Basics line have NO PRINTED INSTRUCTIONS included. Instructions can be downloaded printable PDF format here after October 5, 2022.

CD144026 – C-135 Recon Variants

The KC-135 Stratotanker was not only a tanker – in its reconnaissance variants, it has been serving as an important intelligence asset during the Cold War and beyond. This Caracal set provides markings for 11 (eleven) RC-135/WC-135 variants from various periods.

This set is intended to be used with various Minicraft KC-135 kits and conversion sets, as well as the Roden RC-135V kit for the Rivet Joint options.

Please note that while this decal sheet includes only minimal maintenance stencilling. You can source these markings from our 1/144 scale KC-135 General Markings Set (CD144004) or the kit decals.

This sheet is intended to be used with the AMT/ERTL kits.

CD72136 – USAF T-39 Sabreliner

The military version of the North American Sabreliner business jet, the T-39 served the USAF, US Navy and US Marine Corps as a versatile utility and training aircraft. The first of our two T-39 sheets is designed for the Sword kit and features markings for USAF Sabreliners from various units.
