Fairey Gannet AS.1/AS.4

Considered one of the most distinctive aircraft to ever be seen in service, the Fairey Gannet was just as capable as it was unique during post-war times. Its unconventional design was in response to a 1945 Royal Navy requirement for an advanced carrier-based turboprop and capable enough to withstand operation at sea. The Gannet was equipped with all manner of the latest electronic detection, all intended to counter the recent expansion of the Soviet submarine fleet at the start of the Cold War era.

revell 1985 Chevy Camaro Z28 Product number: 14540 Scale:1:24 Number of parts:48 Length:206 mm Width:86 mm Height:55 mm

Chevrolet introduced the 1967 Camaro to challenge Ford’s incredibly popular Mustang. The original Z/28 debuted that same year as the street version of the race-prepared Camaros that competed in the SCCA’s Trans-Am race series. Camaro Z/28s went on to win the Trans-Am manufacturer’s championship in 1968 and ’69, and this on-track success helped cement the Z/28’s performance reputation. The third- generation Camaro debuted for 1982 with racy styling and a new hatchback body style. Chevy updated the Z28’s exterior appearance for 1985, and highlights included a new front fascia, a revised hood with simulated louvers, and fresh taillights. Your Revell kit of the ’85 Z28 includes these details along with the “L69” 5.0-liter High Output V-8 engine backed by a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1/24-scale model also features the flashy L/S Conteur interior with decals that allow it to be painted in any of the three colors offered by the factory. In addition, the all-new decal sheet provides the Z28’s new-for-1985 exterior graphics in five different color schemes

  • Complete Z28 body features including spoiler and hood detail
  • 5.0 liter V-8 engine with cold air supply plus full interior and suspension detail
  • Factory stock stripe package including 5 color schemes

revell 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner Product number: 14531 Scale:1:24 Number of parts:77 Length:216 mm Width:83 mm Height:59 mm

As the muscle car craze took off in the late 1960s, there appeared to be a ready market that could be met by offering more inexpensive models. Plymouth responded with the 1968 Road Runner which had all of the muscle, but none of the fancy extras found on relatively expensive performance cars. The lack of frills helped keep the Road Runner’s price low, which was exactly what many buyers were looking for. The restyled 1970 Road Runner was part of Plymouth’s new “Rapid Transit System” family of high-performance cars. Whimsical new features included optional “dust trail” side stripes and a wild collection of attention grabbing “High Impact” paint colors. The optional 440+6 engine ran a trio of 2-barrel carbs and punched out 390 horsepower and a whopping 490 lb-ft of torque. So equipped, a Road Runner could cut the quarter mile in the mid-13 second range at over 102 mph.

  • Detailed 440+6 V-8 engine
  • Hood scoop that can be positioned open or closed
  • Detailed interior with separate side panels and a front bench seat
  • Choice of Magnum 500 or steel wheels with “Dog Dish” hubcaps
