The F8F “Panda” was the last piston carrier fighter produced by Grumman. Development of two XF8F-1 prototypes began in November 1943, and the first flight took place on August 21, 1944. The Dana self-propelled artillery was developed by the Czechoslovakian military in 1970. The artillery adopts the former Soviet 2C3 (M1973) 152mm self – propelled howitzer body, and the chassis adopts the Tatra 815 (8×8) truck chassis. It was officially put into service in 1981 . A total of 750 were produced by 1994 . The driver and commander sit in front of the cab. The turret consists of two parts, the main gun is in the middle and is controlled by cables, which can rotate 225 degrees to both sides. The gun has an automatic loading system. The optical sight in the small turret is located in the upper left observation window. The gunner is on the left , the loader is on the right, and there are 60 rounds of ammunition on board . Dana self-propelled guns are in service with countries such as Poland, Czech Republic, Liberia, Poland, Russia and Slovakia.
