Dragon is reprising a 1/35 scale kit of the German schwerer Panzerspahwagen as a Premium Edition offering. The specific vehicle type is an Sd.Kfz.234/1. This 8-wheeled reconnaissance vehicle had a 2cm KwK38 L/55 cannon and an MG42 machine gun mounted in a hexagonal turret. A total of 200 vehicles were produced between June 1944 and January 1945.

Dragon’s 1/35 scale kit Sd.Kfz.234/1 has been upgraded to contemporary standards as a Premium Edition kit. One of the chief improvements is the addition of three wheels that assemble with sandwich-type construction. These multiple-part wheels ensure maximum detail. Another advantage of this new Premium Edition kit is that the driveshafts and tie rods are constructed in such a way as to allow all eight wheels to be depicted in any steering direction that the modeler chooses. At the same time, the original photo-etched parts for the anti-grenade screens on the turret are supplied. Now that the Sd.Kfz.234/1 has received a stunning makeover, modelers will be able to embrace the comeback of this German 8×8 armored vehicle after such a long drought.

ER-3556 – Set for soviet T-54 (fit for MiniArt models). This set consists of two lengths of copper cable, four identical eyelets and rolled tarpaulin made in resin. Tarpaulin is fitted to the following MiniArt kits and replaces part #3 on the “S” sprue: 37007, 37009, 37011, 37015, 37017, 37019.


ER-3557 – Set for soviet T-55 (fit for MiniArt models). This set consists of two lengths of copper cable, four identical eyelets and rolled tarpaulin made in resin. Tarpaulin is fitted to the following MiniArt kits and replaces part #9 on the “A” sprue: 37016, 37018, 37020, 37022, 37023, 37024, 37027, 37057.
