 The Douglas TBD Devastator was a torpedo bomber of the United States Navy, ordered in 1934, it first flew in 1935 and entered service in 1937. At that point, it was the most advanced aircraft flying for the USN and possibly for any navy in the world. However, the fast pace of aircraft development caught up with it, and by the time of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor the TBD was already outdated. It performed well in some early battles, but in the Battle of Midway the Devastators launched against the Japanese fleet were almost totally wiped out. The type was immediately withdrawn from front line service, replaced by the Grumman TBF Avenger.

        The BMD-2 is a Soviet-made tracked airborne infantry fighting vehicle designed by Arkadyi Shabalin. The first prototype of the BMD-2 was built in 1985 and was first revealed to the public in 1988. Started production in 1989. Production of the BMD-2 was undertaken by the Volgograd Tractor Plant. Because the vehicle is designed with a very light body and a small turret, it can be airdropped directly with a parachute. It weighs only 8,225 kilograms. Now it is gradually being replaced by the more advanced paratrooper tank BMD-3.

      Leopard 2 E: This tank is a cooperative improvement project between Spain and Germany based on the original A5 type. The plan originated in 1995 when the Spanish Ministry of Defense applied to Germany to purchase 108 Leopard 2A4 tanks within five years and requested authorization to produce them domestically. On December 23, 1998, the Spanish cabinet finally approved the arms purchase plan and designated Santa Barbara as the main contractor. The production of Leopard 2E/EX is supported by German technology, and all products are made as locally produced as possible.

      In the 1970s, the Soviet Union began planning to develop a new tractor to replace the AT-P tracked artillery tractor developed from the ASU-57 airborne combat vehicle. First, the MT-L was developed based on the PT-76 light amphibious tank. The MT-LB is an armored version of the MT-L. It was put into production in the early 1970s. It is easy to produce and cheap because it uses a large number of off-the-shelf components and the engine is also developed from a truck engine. Produced by the Kharkiv plant, the car was produced under license in Poland and Bulgaria.

      Project 490A emerged as an alternative to Project 490. The 490A Rebel was asked to add a crew member and an external gun. From Object 490 to Object 490A, the biggest change is the completely redesigned turret, while the running gear has not changed much. The project plan was canceled at the end of 1984, and development of the updated Object 477 “Hammer” began. This was a tank that was significantly ahead of its time. In order to retain its strong competitiveness, it adopted a large number of new technologies.
