It depicts the Taiwan Strait in 2023. The Chinese Navy's East China Sea Fleet's Type 052DL guided-missile destroyer, Suzhou, hull number 132, intercepts the USS Zhongyun, an Arleigh Burke-class DDG-93. The view is from a Seahawk helicopter. (The anti-ship missile in the launch position in the cover art serves only to demonstrate that the kit includes special effects for this state.) The Suzhou, traveling at over 30 knots, cuts into the US ship's path from its left rear, reaching a minimum range of just 137 meters. It completes two intercept maneuvers (from left front to right front, and from right front to left front). Finally, the US ship reduces its speed to 10 knots and actively evades the enemy by turning. The Type 052DL, the third batch produced in 2020, features the following major changes compared to the previous Type 052D: Radar upgrades: The YLC-8B long-range early warning radar (improves its ability to detect stealthy targets) and the Type 368 X-band radar (increases its low-altitude target detection range to 500 kilometers). Hull Optimization: The stern has been extended by 5 meters, and the helicopter deck can accommodate the Z-20F anti-submarine helicopter, significantly enhancing anti-submarine capabilities. Weapon Compatibility: The vertical launch system is compatible with the Eagle Strike-21 hypersonic missile (1,500 km range), significantly improving anti-

ship capabilities. Glue-free color separation. The one-piece hull is pre-painted with a red finish below the waterline. The main gun is interchangeable between plastic and detailed 3D-printed naval guns. A vertically launched smoke screen special effect component is included to mount the Eagle Strike-21 anti-ship missile. The 1130 close-in weapon system is one-piece, recreating exquisite details and allowing for glue-free assembly to the hull.

The 3D-printed Z-20 anti-submarine helicopter is made of high-toughness, gray hull material. All metal railings and the flight deck's wave netting are made of glue-free gray etched sheet metal. Each railing section can be glue-free inserted into its fixed position. The entire aft flight deck is pre-painted with a pad-printed finish. White lines are included. Smaller outfitting items and equipment on the ship are reproduced using 3D-printed parts in the same color as the hull, with stable mounting points for glue-free installation.

The entire upper hull is constructed using a one-piece mold with four-sided sliders, facilitating assembly while maintaining high detail. The relief carvings are sharp. The bridge observation windows are hollowed out using sliders. The high-precision 517C meter-wave radar is a one-piece black 3D-printed part. The base mounting points also allow for one-piece, glue-free installation.

The stress-stressed steel plates (orange peel effect), a characteristic of modern warships, are faithfully reproduced in this model. The subtle undulations of the hull are fully reflected in the plastic model.
