NEW RUBBER TIRES – COLOR INSTRUCTION SHEET The wheeled vehicle developed for the US Army HMMWV, an acronym that stands for High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, and better known as the “Humvee”, constitutes the technological evolution of US “know-how” in the creation of extremely flexible vehicles in any ground condition of which the “Willys” is still an icon today. The “Humvee” went into production during the 1980s and is characterized by its large size and operational flexibility thanks to the four-wheel drive and the sturdy structure capable of withstanding the difficult environmental and use conditions. Different versions were made used for troop transport, military logistics, advanced reconnaissance and target acquisition.
