Tamiya 23455 McLaren Senna 1/24

This Tamiya 1/24 scale model recreates the 2019 McLaren Senna in hyper detail! Named after legendary Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna, this extremely track-focused hypercar is McLaren’s most calculated masterpiece. Its unmistakable appearance is dominated by numerous air intakes and aerodynamic addendum that create incredible downforce. Combine that with the extensive use of lightweight carbon fiber throughout and an insanely powerful engine and you have the recipe for a vehicle that launches like a missile and handles the curves like a go-kart!

• 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 198mm, width: 91mm, height: 60mm.
• The sleek aerodynamic body’s form is captured in style. Uniquely, it is composed of a single monocoque part onto which body panels are attached individually, allowing a highly realistic depiction of the car.
• Parts are designed to be assembled into blocks of the same color, streamlining the painting process.
• Features a realistic depiction of the V8 twin turbo engine and visible sections of the complex surrounding engineering.
• The model can be assembled as European, U.S. or Japanese spec.
• Separate parts for brake calipers and discs ensure that while the wheels (and brake discs) rotate, the caliper remains stationary for super realism.
• The dashboard can be assembled in the standard roadgoing or streamlined racing positions.
• Metal transfers recreate McLaren logos.

NEW FROM HOBBYBOSS 1/72 F8F-1 Bearcat 87267

Product introduction:

The F8F Bearcat was the last of Grumman’s piston-engine carrier-based fighters. Two XF8F-1 prototypes were ordered in November 1943, and the first of these was flown on 21 August 1944. Grumman decided once again to utilize the most powerful engine available at the time, the Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp — the same engine that had powered both their Hellcat and Tigercat designs. This time, the engine was fitted to the smallest, lightest airframe that could be built. This resulted in a highly maneuverable, fast airplane with a rate of climb 30% greater than the Hellcat.

In the MENG‎‏ LS-012 Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet model kit, we have prepared 4 different paint schemes for aircraft from different units. The paint scheme A is for the aircraft piloted by CAPT James McCall, the commanding officer of Carrier Air Wing 8 (CAW-8)

As per the practice of the U.S. Navy, the air wing commander’s aircraft often has a high visibility livery of his squadron. This aircraft is no exception and it has the high visibility livery of VFA-31 “Felix the Cat”.
The paint scheme B is a low visibility livery from the same squadron. It is for the aircraft piloted by LCDR Carlisle Lustenberger. “Felix the Cat” is the fighter squadron which has the second longest history in the U.S. Navy. The squadron has flown almost all the fighters of the U.S. Navy.
The paint scheme C belongs to an aircraft with low visibility livery and piloted by LCDR R. J. Prescott from VFA-87 “Golden Warriors” of the CAW-8. This squadron was established in the 1960s as an attack aircraft squadron. In the 1980s, the squadron transitioned to the F/A-18A and became a strike fighter squadron.
The paint scheme D belongs to an aircraft from the United States Navy Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor program which is more popularly known as TOPGUN. The school was established in 1969 for the air combat training of the U.S. Navy pilots. Only outstanding pilots can be selected to be trained in the school and the instructors are experts in air combats.
That’s all for the paint schemes included in the LS-012 Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet kit. We will show the exterior, details and other highlights of this kit in our future updates.
